Okay so I am going to give you no clue about what I was trying to achieve with this WIP pic, just let me know what you honestly think it is meant to be, and what it actually looks like!

the gorgeous skin texture is the bliss, by bytemeokay :) the less impressive jumper + postwork by me!

thanks
Steve :o)

she looks to me like she's just been dumped by her boyfriend & she's sitting staring out the window at the rain feeling really sorry for herself, the necklace was a present from him, looks really good, she might need a little redness round the eyes make it look like she's been crying. Rob

Ok I will take a crack at this. 1st lovely picture her face expression is almost heartbreaking. To me it looks like she is sitting down stareing out of a window. Either worried about someone in the snow storm outside, or missing a loved one she lost around this tiem or year or in a storm like the one going on. Most likely the one who gave her the necklace she is wearing. If I am way off sorry I tried

Only one thing came to mind, and it came immediately: Sarah McLaughlan-- Song For A Winter's Night The lamp is burnin' low upon my table top The snow is softly fallin' The air is still within the silence of my room I hear your voice softly callin' If I could only have you near To breathe a sigh or two I would be happy just to hold the hands I love Upon this winter night with you The smoke is rising in the shadows overhead My glass is almost empty I read again between the lines upon the page The words of love you sent me If I could know within my heart That you were lonely too I would be happy just to hold the hands I love Upon this winter night with you The fire is dying now, my lamp is growing dim The shades of night are liftin' The mornin' light steals across my windowpane Where webs of snow are driftin' If I could only have you near To breathe a sigh or two I would be happy just to hold the hands I love And to be once again with with you To be once again with with you

I agree she looks like she lost someone but not a boyfriend. when i see it, I see a young woman who has lost her mother and the locket was either her mother's and then given to her when she passed away or was a present from her mother when she( the girl) was younger. This is really a beautiful picture.

She might be wishing she'd been more careful with that Superglue..... ...just a thought...:) Beav

Two guesses: 1. "I hope he makes it home okay." 2. First Christmas without him. okay, three guesses... c. "Crap! I just shoveled that walk!"

My guess, she is remembering good times that will be no more. Sharen

im going to say.. with the bright yellow pendant.. that her husband/boyfriend just went off to fight in the war, and she is spending the first night alone. unless of course im missing the reflection map on the heart, thats what the picture brings to my mind

smerc posted Thu, 06 June 2002 at 7:46 PM

Her hard drive crashed and she had never backed up 3 years of poser downloads and purchases.

melanie posted Thu, 06 June 2002 at 7:48 PM

She's definitely sad or depressed. Maybe it was her first winter after 9/11 and someone she loved was lost in the tragedy? Melanie

Barbarellany posted Thu, 06 June 2002 at 8:07 PM

Is that a dent in her finger where a ring once resided? I would say broken marriage or engagement, but it seems to be the wrong hand. Are the reflections in the glass critical clues?

Jcleaver posted Thu, 06 June 2002 at 8:18 PM

OK, my guess. She just closed on her house, and lost her job the next day. The raindrops you ask? Well, that is the drops of rain water on one of the lens of glasses of her brother who just ran over to console her. Actually, that is a true story. My sister did just close on her house, and lose her job the next day. The pic fits for me!

She was going to go shopping but she locked her keys in the car and she'd just had her hair done, so now she's facing the delimma of not going to the big shoe sale or ruining her new 'do.

This isn't one of those morbid drug analogies is it. (window pane, snow or rain?) Message671424.jpg "Hey, Mr.Tamborine Man play a song for me . . . "

She lives in Florida. She neglected to stock up on Spam. She's watching the water lapping over her sandbags. She doesn't feel comfortable with the alligators swimming up the street, either. And, this is just another opportunity that her "old man" took to stay away from the trailer park for a few days. The necklace was on special at walmart. though not real, it sure is bright. so, she sits. the lights have gone out due to the storm. she gazes at the occasional glare of a headlight on the window. she watches as the tourists stall out trying to drive through the water in the street. she wishes....that they had the money for a generator.

She's mourning what happens when your shadow maps are still set at 256 and mischievous elves keep dumping all your soap flakes out the second story windows.

She's feeling "not so fresh".
