OK, Jaqui, now that you're warmed up, how about this? Victoria based werewolf-looking character.

Kind of a wimpy werewolf there, Jaqui. ^~ Think you can do a Posette-based Wookie? If you succeed, can I have a copy for a project? ^~
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 2:52 PM
Fyrespiryt, if I hadn't lost mt's when computer crashed would have had better..with fangs and pointed ears ect. can try with the wookie.... no tex though unless you make one for her. sure, no problem on the cr2 for the character.
FyreSpiryt posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 2:55 PM
A texture too would certainly be unfair. ^_~ Thanks! The werewolf does look pretty good considering how quickly you did her.
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:01 PM
need to find / make mt's for the teeth..fang them for posette also, but have the facial shape to match chewbacca already. ~L~
FyreSpiryt posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:04 PM
Wow. Jaqui, I am impressed. ::applauds;:
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:09 PM
why Fyrespiryt? chewbacca was solely make up on a human, so base human shape is underneath the look.
FyreSpiryt posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:15 PM
Well, if you don't want me to be impressed, I don't have to be. ^_~
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:21 PM
~making mt's right now for teeth and to tweak the nose into shape the last bit~ well it's not that, but.. ~wink~ morphing her into Jabba the hut would be impossible..he's not humanoid. ~L~

I apologize for butting in, but I couldn't resist ... I've been working on Victoria wolfwoman characters for the past few weeks.

Admittedly, mine took longer than ten minutes. :)

Hmmm...any way of getting a 'sea elf' ear morph for the merbaby?
I tried doing it myself a while back and it came out awful.
FyreSpiryt posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:33 PM
Hee hee! Little Dragon, that is a very cute werewolf! I like her!
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:34 PM
Desdemonna, I don't have the merbaby character, so I can't make the mt for it for you. Little Dragon, ~g~ to make vicky wolf morph set, with ears fangs and all definately longer than 10 minutes, the base shape of the skull is easy, the details always take much longer. ~g~ specially when no mt for what you need in your cr2.
cinnamon posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:57 PM
i would love to see a captain kirk morph to go with all the great textures for the suit people made. or andy garcia!
Little_Dragon posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 3:59 PM
Thanks, FyreSpiryt. Florence is actually a Bowman's Wolf, a genetically-altered lifeform. Read all about her at FreeFall, an online comic strip.
I know what you mean, Jaqui. I tried this with Victoria 1 a couple of times; she didn't have sufficient morphs to create a convincing muzzle. I love the reduced resolution versions; the mesh is so much easier to work with.
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 4:12 PM
cinnamon, but William shatner has his appearance trademarked and copyrighted. such a look, as with all actors, is a violation of copyright. they make their living from the look. get a letter allowing you to have and use it, sure, that type of morph is extremely simple to do with the poser models. see the thread in the copyright forum. Jaqui, Can you do a visibly webbed-finger morph for any of the millennium characters? It really bothers me to see all these merfolk with totally human hands. If the fingers were longer and more fin-like, it wouldn't hurt either. Thanks, Carolly
cinnamon posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 4:45 PM
wow i didnt know that. thanks for the info Jaqui. pout. he was (well still is) so dang cute!
Jaqui posted Sun, 09 June 2002 at 4:55 PM
hauksdottir, I can work on it. cinnamon, all the props available to the trek series are actually a violation. unless the artist has a letter allowing them to make and distribue them. the letters are available, but the artist has to pay for each copy so the items wouldn't be free. ~g~ a lot of companies get very uptight about it, as we can all understand, none of us like having our work claimed by others. and as a result of the discussion in the copyright forum Renderosity is going to take a look at everything for copyright issues. I ran into this with cl, asking for something they own the rights to. still discussing it with them, hopefully we can both be satisfied with the resolution of the discussion.

I'd really like to see some morphs to turn the millenium figures into vampires like in Buffy and Angel. I saw another thread about this which suggested grabbing the orc characters from Daz but they're not quite right.
Jaqui posted Mon, 10 June 2002 at 10:33 AM
Greebo, the fang morphs I don't have, but the vicky "werewolf" I did back a few in this thread is a fairly exagerated look of the "Buffy & Angel" vampire look. that is altering the nose and cheekbones/cheeks really with the morphs available for vicky to obtain the facial differences for the Buffy and Angel vampire appearance. I think the original Movie Vampire would be much more interesting to aim for...Nosfiratu was a truly evil looking character... though that could have been the black and white. unfortunately, I have plumbers coming in and the have to rip the wall behind the computer out, so I'm going to have to take it apart before they get here or I would set up the base for the character you wanted. find me a fang morph for the millenium characters and presto the complete buffy / angel vampire look....different from every other vampire out there. ~g~
Greebo posted Mon, 10 June 2002 at 1:53 PM
I've looked for fang morphs before for the mill figures and the ones I found didn't want to work. I think I must've deleted them in annoyance because I can't find them now. l Hope all goes well with the plumber. Course, by the time you read thins your compy will be all put back together and the plumbing will be over. g
Jaqui posted Mon, 10 June 2002 at 9:11 PM
actually, it is a month or two process..redoing entire building. not only new plumbing, but I moved today also. ~sigh~ still have to unpack
FyreSpiryt posted Mon, 10 June 2002 at 9:21 PM
I guess this would be a bad time to point out you forgot to post a picture of the Wookie-morph-in-progress. ^_~ Seriously, though, my condolences on the moving. Packing and unpacking in a bear, isn't it? I'll confess to still having packed boxes from when I moved. A year ago. Good luck and hang in there! Hopefully the remodeling won't cramp your style too much.
DragonWalk posted Tue, 11 June 2002 at 8:43 AM
I am not sure about the bottom smacking, but I am 100% certain that if radart were here he could leave you all in morphing dust. One thing about radart, he could morph anything into ANYTHING with some persistence, and in amazing time too; unfortunatly for radart, the poser continuoum decided, (rather quickly too), to go Vickie/Mike and transparencies thus preferring the effectuals of textures rather than the actual results of 'morphing' the meshes themselves, making his caricaturing talents rather obsolete. Attempting to morph a Vickie into Cindy Crawford without a texture to go with it still looks like Vickie Crawford and it's amazing how some textures 'alone' will make just any Vickie look different, but you cannot 'see' this until you actually 'render.' The amazing thing is radart was able to alter the look so one could see the change before any rendering even took place. Radart never did take the time to learn texture making, but I challenge anyone to make a Rhino or Dinosaur into a human-type character using just textures, something radart could do with mere morphs dials and then even conforming human clothes to fit as well. Oh well, he's dead and gone, let's leave him there for the benefit of all concerned ;-) Cheers.
RealDeal posted Sat, 05 August 2006 at 8:00 AM

Cool, but not looking for anime style stuff right now. I found some pretty interesting ones here:
http://www.ht3dplus.com/Files/morphs.html
for V3; I'm thinking the klingon morphs for V2 & M2 would work if you throw in some fangs.
