Hello; On the Carrara CD there are several models that are figures of people or animals. How would I go about giving these figures all the info they need to be posable figures in Poser? Is there a cr2 file or something on the Poser CD I can use to build the info for them? Or is there a more automated proccess one can use? What sorts of things do I have to check for in the figure's files to make sure they will be capable of this process?

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

arcady - Its a long process...Here is the short version. 1) Break up the mesh and name the body parts. Break the mesh where ever there is a joint. Export from RDS or Carrara as OBJ. 2) Use UV Mapper to get a Texture Template for your OBJ file. 3) Use PHI Builder to build the figures heirarchy. 4) Convert the PHI file in poser using File-> Convert Heir. 5) Set the Joint Parameters (JP's) inside Poser for all moving parts. 6) Save the character to a library in Poser. This will create the .CR2 file. Thats the short and nasty of it. Once I have a mesh to start choping up it usually takes me about 24-48 hours of work to get things done. If you have a some specific questions let me know. I will be glad to help. Clint
