Just use Display -> Element Style -> Cartoon W Lines. It will make the hair, and only the hair, cartoon with lines, so you can see exactly where it is as you set it up.

Great tip! This should be in the FAQ....invisible hair is the cause of much swearing around here =;^)

Yes! This thread is a life saver! I knew I had seen this tip before, but I couldn't remember where or what the exact procedure was. Thanks :)

Jim is going to try and get around to adding MATs to the hair in question, sorry it hasn't been done yet! I think the best way to work with trans-mapped hair is have it load with transparency off, after posing you can then check the fit, and finally right before rendering click on a Mat Pose file that properly set the transparency. That is what I do on all my current hair, the Hollywood hair sorta predates MATs though, we didn't know how to do that yet! Anyway, DAZ should have the SanFransico hair upgrade up in a couple of days (yep, I finally did it!), I'll probably do this set next, I think I'm going to do a conforming model of the longer hair too, in addittion to the prop version.
