Caught sight of the sun going through the clouds tonight and looking kinda nice, so quickly grabbed the Digi and drove the 5 minutes to the riverside for a few shots. This is a little patch of mud called "Monkey Island" where people used to (maybe still do?) dig for Ragworm to use as fishing bait. Couple more shots to follow. (",)

YI Jordy man, These r great. You cant beat a nice bit of sky, just love the reflections and the power lines standing like giants over the landscape. What digital camera do you have mate? I keep looking but cant decide when to jump if you know what I mean. :O)

Great shots. I love the 3rd one. The color is great.

Nice shots Jordy, I like them all but the contrast between the beautiful colour of the sky & the industrial landscape in 3rd really strikes me.

...definedly the last one. Beautiful shots, but as beautiful that sky is in 1&2, its bit traditional. But the blue one with reflections, I'm diggin. .n

tch. cheeky. I don't know where it got the name, I'll try the guy that runs the town's website and see if he can tell me. It may or may not be related to a town called Hartlepool who once hung a monkey beleiving it to be a French spy. Ironically, the football team's mascot is a guy in a monkey costume called H'Angus - he recently went for Mayor and erm.....won.......in the costume. (",)
