So which is better: Vue or Bryce?

Both have their strengths. Try the demo for both of them and see which one you like best. That is what I did and I think you can guess which one I picked. :)

what NightVoice said. the applications both have their strenghts and weaknesses, but in the end it's down to one question: with what tool can you work more comfortably (i.e. what GUI feels more natural to you), and with what application will you get the results you desire. In my case, I was looking for an app with a good vegetation system and a render engine that allows me to make more "artsy" images while still having the possibility to do near photo-realistic rendering. Hence Vue it is for me. ta, -Sascha.rb

There is a lot of info about the Vue vs. Bryce question in the Vue Forum Annex (link higher up on the page). However, the link to that part of the Forum Annex does not work at the moment for some reason (Guitta, can you take a look at that?)

Thanks Kelderek, it is repaired. NightIris, have a look at the link above and get a demo of both, try it and decide after that. I cannot speak about Bryce, except the demo which I did not like. Guitta
