Can anyone tell me where I can find metallic and/or reflective textures for Poser, especially to do metallic skin? Many thanks, DA

What you need are reflection maps. There are a bunch of them in the free stuff at www.runtimedna.com and also in the tutorial section at morphworld3 (I forget the URL but I'm sure you can find it with google).
