Looks like you got it! Now all you need to do is invert the selection then apply filter. Keep in mind that you can use this on any type of filter. Spike

Thank you for the help. I thought I did invert it, but I should test using a different image. The trees don't really show the difference that much. Thanks again .. Deanna
