Oooh kewl ferns! :-D Very graceful shots, bev! I like the rich greens in the first pic, but I like the b/w version better. The sharpness of the fronds at the back are distracting in the color version, and there is more texture going on in the b/w, IMHO. (*

I do like first one and the color is great but the b&w one does nothing for me but I agree with star about the textures, they do stand out more
Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

Jovan you'r right about the distraction thing I should have toned that down, thanks. I don't see this as texture, more as pattern. I think I'm leaning toward the b&w just feel it could be better if I knew how!

These are beautiful, and I liked the colored one better for sharp green patterns on sharp green patterns and sharp green patterns on black (dark, better to say) background...
BTW, amazing plants, these ferns are..!

Bev a great subject I think it works fine in colour and in b&w, It all needs to be sharp I think and I am unsure about the black hole on the left, does it add depth or is it dead space? :O)

Jeff, the aim was for depth, maybe I could have left a little more detail in there. Doruk, you have a knack for making me look at things afresh! Thanks ; )
