I like & am used to the P4 Figures, but now I'm trying the Millennium Figs. One problem: I can't seem to adjust the clothing figs. on my Mike2. Specifically, after conforming jeans or pants to the figure I can not move the "Y" axis of the pants. If I try to adjust Y in the pants "Body", absolutely nothing moves. If I try to move Y in the pants "Hip", as with the P4s, the pants Hip DOES move, but no other part of the pants move, so I end up with a distorted pants Hip.
Guess I must be doing something wrong, but what???

Why do you want to adjust the axis on the clothes? What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to fit P4 clothes to Mike? It might be possible, but the results wouldn't be very desirable. Are you trying to pose Mike, and get the clothes to follow? Just dress Mike, then conform the clothes to Mike. When you want to pose Mike, select Mike's body first, then pose. The clothes should follow.

Hi all, my first post on Renderosity :-) Actually I have the same question as Knuten. My particular issue is that I have a customized Michael-based character. I am trying to get PhilC's boxer briefs to fit well on him. I've used Tailor to get the right size/proportions, etc. and that worked very well. The problem though is when I conform it to my character it attaches a bit "high" on my characters waist (i.e. his briefs cover his navel, coming about 1/4 the way up his abdomen). This clothing article works very well on other Michael based chars that I have, and on the Mikey 3.0 char. The perfect thing would be if I could just lower it a bit on my customized character. I'm assuming you can't change the axis once its conformed but taking a shot in the dark here. Any ideas? Thanks much

mrp, Is your Mike zeroed out? (check Body parts > hip and look at the 3 dials for translating.) If transx, y, and x are all zeroed, do the same for the hip on the boxers. Then conform the boxers to the man. If they still come up too high, you may be able to nudge them down a bit and have them still work. Carolly

Hi Carolly, Thanks for responding. All of the x, y, z trans of both the figure and the boxers were set to zero prior to conforming. I did try your tip to nudge the hip of the boxers down slightly but unfortunately it distored the rest of the figure too much. So... looks like that won't work. I do appreciate that you tried to help though. Matt

Matt, If that didn't work, why don't you email Phil? He is very helpful about getting clothes to fit right. Carolly
