Does anyone know where I can find glasses that I can use for my characters and where I can find jewelry like wedding bands and engagement rings? Ialso would like to find props like t.v. remote controls.

Just do a keyword search for "glasses" or "ring" here in Free Stuff, and you'll find more styles than you'll probably ever need.
You can download a remote control at The 3D Studio. It's in .3ds format, so you'll have to import it into Poser.
Zippo has an engagement ring with case at his site, Laboratory 108. It's perfect for unexpected proposals.
