Poser props has a cyclinder prop and I found it very useful at times. However, it would be even more useful if there was a way to make it hollow. Or is there a hollow cyclinder prop out there somewhere? Thanks

I was thinking the same about the cone... It might be possible to make the cylinder APPEAR to be hollow with a trans map...

Really? I've had trouble getting the grouping tool to do what I want in the past; I'll have to play with it some more.

you could go to PhilC's thread and see if you can still download the new Poser primatives he made. There was a tube in there. Failing that, try posting a message for him and see if he'll send them to you Paul

Paul, you beat me to it.. I was gonna tell Butch the same thing, but unfortunately PhilC has replaced the primitive freebies with the men's boots... He did said it was limited.. It has a hollow cylinder among other things in the primitive download... Cindy

I have tried and tried to use the stupid grouping tool and have yet to get it do what it is suppose to do. I spent six or seven hours the last time, and I finally gave up and forgot about using poser for a week. I am also well aware that the props are just shells and like any other shell there should be a way to knock the end off. I missed the primitive download, darnit. Actually besides the cone and cylinder, a box and maybe a hemisphere would be useful. thanks again

heya; allie, i hate to disagree, but the grouping tool selects back faces in solid mode(s) -- when i use it, at least! i mean, i was clicking on the nostril polys and ended up with backs of ears! gaaah!

Twist my arm nicely and I'll send you them pcooke@mis.net :)

'fraid not, allie; was doing that with my nice spiffy new celeron 466. grouping tool just hates me :/

I have celeron 466 too, with 128 megs of ram and that stupid tool has to be the worst feature of poser. To PhilC, Do I have to get on my knees, if so I am and not above groveling if that helps. I bow before a Master Poser and humbley beg for any guidance and favors thou mightest bestow on this most unworthy, lowest of the lowest, beginner. Thanks again
