The only thing I have against actions is the inability to fade. That doesn't mean I won't get yours-- they are in my cart. My workaround is to do them on an alternate layer which I can then fade transparency to give me even more control over what comes up. Either that, or if they are multiple layered effects, to then drop the effects reload the pict, copy paste, proceed as above. Just wanted to mention that. So those peoplelike me who have been prejudiced against actions know there is a workaround. It also gives you about three times the number of effects. These look fabulous. Emily

Hmm that's a good point, Emily. I reckon you won't be able to use mine on an alternate layer because they use so many layers, but the other workaround will work fine. :) I haven't created that many actions, actually, because I seldom need the exact same effect twice... but I started to think people might be interested in some effects they could use on Poser renders. I was positively surprised to see how nicely these actions work on photos as well :)

Eowyn, these are beautiful effects! :) What a great idea making them into a set of actions. I use actions all the time because they make repetitive PS steps much easier. As Queri pointed out, I would apply the effects to a duplicate image to get more control over the image. Copy > merged is so incredibly handy. :)
