I have VueD 4 on a B&W G3 mac, 256 mb ram. I enabled open GL. I am having trouble seeing objects as I move then and try to position things. The display blinks off and behaves poorly in shaded mode. wireframe is hard to see. No mode seems to allow me to work on smaller detailed objects. Are there any other options? Also is there a way to nudge an object a precise amount? Help! Larry Watts

Hi Larry,
I can't help with your display problems, except to say you should probably turn-off openGL or find an updated video driver.
You can nudge a selected object using a shift-arrow key key combo (I have a PC version I'm not sure if this applies for the Mac version).

I should have added that I'm running OS X on the G3.
It should have the latest drivers.
Let me ask- when working in Vue D can you see shaded faces clearly and see the vertices and move around smoothly.
My system seems very sluggsih and again its not like looking at a view like deep exploration shows.
(I have the pc demo)

Larry - I was having similar problems on a pc and did the following to get a better view of wireframes. Go to file/options and increase your background draw slider to it's max setting. This slowed down my redraw time ever so slightly but made all objects more visible both in shaded and wireframe format. I don't have a lot of mac experience so I can't really guarentee anything but it worked on my pc.
