I'm trying to create something that would be a "strap" (like the ones on a backpack that hold it on your back) that twists a certain ammount to another angle (if you took that strap on your backpack and twisted it 45degrees one way) Any way to do this, note I don't have any other 3d programs to work with on this. Thanks! ps. also slightly related, this strap would be around a corner/edge, and right now I'm (very sloppily) cutting the edges off, anyway to actually "bend" the object around the corner with using the method I am (I'm having difficulty explaining it, but hopefully someine understands).

Have you tried with symmetrical lattices? Erase the default one in the Preview window and try playing with drawing one that would look like it's twisted.

multi-replicate a small portion, latice, rounded cube - unless your view is close up its fine

This could possibly be done with metaballs too if you have Bryce 5.

Aldaron beat me to it. I launced Bryce after merely reading the title. Oh well. Yeah, it'll work, I did it but the offset was a little too high. But you get the idea.
