Hi. Maybe I'm just missing a link somewhere, but is there any way to view only the original DAZ creations somewhere on their site? I'd like to use my $5 voucher, but I already own Mike, Vicky, and Stephanie and everything else I find interesting is by a brokered artist. :) Thanks! BTW, I'll have a new free download soon that many of you should find useful. :) Take care. SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

I don't think there is a way. Basically you just click and hope.
I feel your pain though. :) I have the same frustration.

Several months ago I agonized on how to use my $5 voucher at DAZ. In the end, I got the DAZ Castle, which was absolutely useless. I maybe have 1-2 of those $5 vouchers around.. Now the trick, as you say, is to find stuff that isn't brokered.

I've been thinking about sending a suggestion to DAZ about putting something in the thumbnails to differentiate between their products and brokered products before opening the page for a specific product, but I've been too busy drinking beer. It would be good to know what was brokered and what was a DAZ original without having to load the product page.

Your safe with all the incredible Robert Whisenant animals, they used to be brokered, but since Robert joined Daz, they're now Daz items. Regretfully though, they're all over $5... but combine that with the summer sale and you do get a good sale price.
I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Use it for the DAZ gorilla texture. The gorilla is up at DAZ now.

"I've been thinking about sending a suggestion to DAZ about putting something in the thumbnails to differentiate between their products and brokered products before opening the page for a specific product, but I've been too busy drinking beer" LOL!! Try to take a break sometime. ;) Thanks to everyone who replied, guess I'll just have to click and hope like Kendra said...not much fun on a 56K modem though. ; SnowS

The gorilla texture and pose set fits the bill fairly well. I had an old $5 certificate that I can't find any more. But when I finally get the $5 for completing the survey, I'll get that Gorilla stuff for about $5!!!

Ahhh ... then resale items would end with an "r", like the Aurora plugin! Thanks, pokeydots!

DaZ gets a 50% cut of brokered stuff, right? I wish I could use the voucher as $2.50 off of brokered items, then. I've already got all of Daz's stuff that I want.
melanie posted Fri, 21 June 2002 at 8:09 AM
Same problem here. There's nothing left of the DAZ created items I can buy that I don't already own. I've wished they could just put in a category in the list on the left sidebar for DAZ Original Items Only. That way we could just click into that category and find nothing but their stuff on that page. It would save a ton of time. Melanie

I agree about DAZ should state in some way what is brokered and what is not before you click on the item itself. I have found these 2 items though that are DAZ originals: Heart locket pendant - $5.95 or $6-95 and The Morphing Boots - $13.95 or $15.95 Sorry for the conflicting information. It has been over a week when I last looked at them.
