Please, please, my rattlesnake obj and rsr are corrupted and I don't want to reinstall Poser and wipe out everything I already have loaded. Could someone zip up those to files and send them to me so I can replace my trashed ones?

None of my snakes work either. Don't want to point fingers but I think this Cobra morph I downloaded killed them. Not sure though. Anvil.

Just delete the large .rsr in the geometries folder and let Poser build a new one for you the next time you bring the snake into a scene. Also, reinstalling poser doesn't touch any of your custom files...on a PC anyway. -JH.

The rattle snake is one of the figures that the patch fixes, as well.

I deleted the rsr file and now Poser won't build a new one. PhilC wants me to get back with him via e-mail. I'm not running any patches yet until there is an official one. Unless I've missed it, I don't think there is an official patch.

I also tried JeffH's fix to no avail. I am told when opening the rattlesnake "no groups in geom, cannot make rsrc.file." Patiently waiting for help. Anvil. p.s. I also fear messing with patches. Not sure what to think of them.

Received obj from PhilC and still Poser refuses to create a resource file for this obj. I even restarted my computer and still the program refuses to make a resource file. I'm hoping Phil will send the resource. I ask if it is possible to change the properties in windows of this file to read-only, if that will keep it from becoming corrupt again?

Download the patch and copy the snake obj, rsr, and other stuff over the existing one. It's a bunch of seperate iles, so you can just install this and not anything else.

The newest patch (from Ghost Effects) is very stable and fixes a number of things (the rattlesnake among them). Unless anything really really disasterous happens with the latest build of the patch, it will be the final build. Paul

Poser may take up to 10 minutes to build the new resource on slower machines.

It didn't even do it. It instantly popped out there with "Figure1" and nothing out in the window. PhilC sent resource file so I'm going to see if I can't get my snake back up and slithering.
