Subject: how to edit png files??

I have a png image and i need to duplicate and mirror it to add to the library.How can I do it?

I have PSP7 and it works with png's without a hitch. H:)

macromedia fireworks uses png as its parent file format. adobe 5.5 handles it well, so i assume every later version does also i believe paintshop can handle png, ui dnt use it so i dont know Whatever Windows XP's default image preview proggy thing is can read png, i think you can use that And if you have microsoft office, the photo editor can read and make basic adjustments like mirroring. Put if your just adding the image to your library, you should be able to just put it in your libray folder and rename it to the same name as the cr2 for that ile. For example, to give Michael 2 an image in the library, just rename the png to Michael2.png. I THINK thats how it works, never tried it myself but give it a shot.

Yes, that's exactly how it works. Make sure the .png has exactly the same spelling and capitalization.

The GIMP, a freeware image editor, also supports .png format.

You can get The Gimp here, in versions for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
