Hello, there is a new update for both Maconverter and Macinstaller fixing some minor glitches and offering improved support for MAT files. **Maconverter 1.1.6:** As you might remember, the previous update offered a fix repairing thumbnails created with early versions of P3d0 for PC (recent files by the same tool will no longer cause problems). Very unfortunately there are now some more problems with thumbnail files - there is a small number of completely invalid .rsr files on the net (most likely manually hacked). Those files may cause obscure crashes or unstable system behaviour within Poser, but different to the P3d0 problem it can't be repaired. Because of this potential danger, Maconverter will now check for non-standard thumbnail data and refuses conversion of suspicious files. If it determines invalid data in an already converted file, it will remove the thumbnail to avoid further potential danger. One identified source of invalid thumbnails is the "BAT Lab" site - I have tried to contact them in order to find a better workaround, but to no avail. If you have downloaded Poser files from this site and converted them already you **must** re-run the library files through Maconverter (with "Fix damaged PC thumbnails" turned on) in order to be safe. **Macinstaller 1.0.6:** Occasionally some MAT files (disguised in wrong libraries like Cameras or Lights) failed to install properly, because Macinstaller originally didn't scan for texture references in unexpected categories. The new version will now properly process all types of MAT library files. The updated tools are available from my website:
