Okay, I'm new with poser, but we were all new at one time. I purchased the great looking Gypsy Hair, downloaded and installed. But I can't see the hair unless I render the image. Generic poser hair you can see when you double click the style. But with Gypsy Hair, I double click and get a transperancy. I used the default loader. I even reinstalled poser and Gypsy Hair. Can someone please tell me my problem? I would like to pose my character with the hair, to see how it falls, and don't want to continuiously render the picture while adjusting the hair.

there's nothing wrong with the hair, it's just poser makes it hard to see when working with transparencies, the best thing to do is select the hair, click on display and choose either figure style or element style, then change the style to cartoon or cartoon with lines, it's not perfect but it's the best way to see what you're doing, the standard hair doesn't suffer because no transparencies. Rob's way is a good way to do it, but if you go to poses>A-Gypsy-Hair, you will find the first two mats will help with that. Just bonus mats I think that really help. I really like the Gypsy Hair. Tashar 59

What a great idea! Wish all the hair-makers would include a MAT Pose like that.......(hint, hint...)

Thank you all for the responses. The secret was regarding the trans. Then I went to set up materials and adjusted the trans max to zero, I could see the hair and use the sidebar control dials to adjust. Wow, what hair! I was a little worried about the value compared to price. But I know I will get functionality out of this hair. Thanks again to all.

It is great hair once you get use to it. Someone made extra textures for Gypsy hair in Marketplace. They are worth the 9 to $10 . :O) mysticwinter this is the name of the person who made the new textures.
