This is a render I turned in for an online course I'm taking. Working two jobs and having only one week to do this assignment left a lot of stuff needing fixing. I plan on working on the ground and stones and the lamp part of my lamp post is a little bit off, I don't need help with these. What I need help with is the wood grain on the bench. I'd like it to run horizontal. I've tried using the x,y,z things in the frequency editor but have had no luck. Is this the right place to be or should I be in the DTE? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't have a lot of art background. I've been trying to avoid the centering mistakes and the too heavy - too light in the composition mistakes. So please, if I'm making any of these types of mistakes I'd like to know. Any constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks, Ang
