Is it possible to tell Photoshop to use more than one directory for plug-ins? Whenever I try to change it, I lose the filters that came with Photoshop. I was also wondering if anyone has had any problem using KPT 3 filters with Photoshop 7. I tried to used them last night. I was able to apply the filter, but after I applied it, I couldn't seem to do anything. I could change tools, but I couldn't use them. I could change layers, and revert my history, but I couldn't pick any menu items. I couldn't save my file. I couldn't minimize the program. It would just beep at me. I finally forced windowsXP to shut Photoshop 7 down. It said it couldn't shut it down because it was waiting for input from me? But what input? I hit enter. That didn't seem to help. I had applied the filter just like I had so many other times in other versions of Photoshop. I even rebooted the computer and got the same results. I do have EyeCandy and it worked fine. NOTE: Even though windowsXP said it couldn't shut the program down, when I clicked on End Program, Photoshop was out of there. Not sure if this could have any affect, but I did drag copies of the filters over to my photoshop 7 plug-in directory since I couldn't find a way to point photoshop to where they lived. Thanks.
