Wow...what ARE you rendering these in? Please, I must know. Bribery is not out of the question.

Suggestion: Texture map Add a HINT of dark nuetral grey around his eyes; on his cheeks where the beard meets the face; on his lips (and dim the color there too) and on the creases next to his nose. Facial morphs Thin the lips as much as possible Hope this helps.

RKane, These are just being rendered in Poser 4.

Who, cool. smile They look so much better than what I have been doing texture wise... then again, you must be working with larger, more hi res files than I have been. You've inspired me to experiment more! Thanks!

Absolutely outstanding James. The middle figure is my favorite too. Definately a hint of grey on the texture map where beard meets skin - other than that, it is brilliant. Paul

Just terrific. I add my vote for the middle figure too. Diane B

Yowsa! James, this is fantastic! You've done an outstanding job on all of the Tolkein characters, but this one is definitely my favorite by far. He's got such character in his face. Great job! Marybeth

Wow! Gandalf lives! FAbulous work! The middle version looks very much like the Gandalf I envisioned when I read the Tolkien books. How DID you read ny mind to create this character??? I doff my Wizard hat in your general direction! Eric Walters

This is the first character with believable aging features. The wrinkles and lines are perfect. I hope to see more aged characters like this. James, you just keep getting better and better. Don't stop! Melanie
