Followed the directions -decoded the .pcf file (backed up my .obj files) -replaced the .obj file in the Geometries file and renamed it properly -eliminated the .rsr in both the geometries file and the character file opened the file and ...well... I got a floating crotch, nothing more. Did it three times just to be sure all with the same result. What did I do wrong? I really would like to get your nostril thing to work. I appreciate what you are trying to do which is eliminate a long time foible of the models. Thank you in advance for your help.

It was p4man and I was using the P4 file for sure.

okay... i tried it today, and it sucks. :/ i got the head and the hip, but that was it. now the obj file decoded just fine, because that loaded up and everything was there. i have no clue why poser won't read it properly! i have found that when i create the nostrils with the poser grouping tool, it causes the head to use a custom geom in the cr2. i'll send poserworld the new cr2's this weekend, and it does work if you copy the actor:head bit overtop of your old cr2 actor:head bit with cr2editor. sorry 'bout that :/

Let me know if you get this problem solved. I really like your solution and think that it should be done for the next Poser version (I'm thinking positively about that.)

heya; i dont know why poser wont read the new obj just like it reads the old obj. the cr2 files are smaller and easier to exchange (no pcf encoding), but it's more of a pain for the end-user to cut and paste the sections, especially if you have more than one cr2 that uses the nude figures. but i guess that's the way it'll have to go.
