..that didn't much look like a protest at all. There wasn't a lot of people to begin with, and those that were there turned the whole meeting area more into a 60s love-in (complete with naked people) than a protest. I'm all for peace & love, but that wasn't what I had in mind. :) (I was hoping for a peaceful protest, which is what happened, but that was a bit much) Huge downpours probably played a role in that. I ended up not being able to go the first day, but it was virtually identical to the second, so I didn't miss much (except some spray painting action and a flag burning, though I'm glad I missed that last one). I managed to shoot a roll on the second day, though, before heavy rain drove me inside (I wasn't swearing as much as the girl with three Nikon cameras with incredibly nice prime lenses who had rubber 'shocks' around her cameras but no plastic bag though.. heh). Went to a bar that was on their path so I could join them back after the rain, but their itinerary changed somewhat as they just split in really small pockets and joined up about 2 hours later down the road. So, I guess the gov't's tactic of dividing the protests worked. I think I still managed to get a few good shots though, at least. 'cept they were out of Ilford XP2, and it was a choice between Delta 400, Delta 3200, or HP5. I picked the HP5 (which, funnily, is ISO 400 on the box but my camera detected as 320.. heh). On the upside, I still have my second roll of Ilford to play with, so methinks I'll sniff out some more experiments. :) =DarkPen=
