heyas; i have a cool drink i made in lightwave, for poser (its for d/l at my site).... but when i bring it into vue, i can't get the juice to render properly. i can't figure out why. i don't have a picture (i know, my bad). but the glass is double-sided, and the juice in it is a duplicate of the inside mesh, and shrunk down inside, and facing out. so the outside of the glass, faces out, the inside of the glass faces in, and the juice faces out. and then there's stuff stuck in it, like ice cubes and a straw, etc. okay, so i put light glass on the glass, and some semi-transparent, non-refracting orange juice on the juice. but no matter what i do, only the top of the juice renders. the part that is touching the inside of the glass is completely invisible. it's two sided. i tried making the glass one-sided, that didn't help. i tried lowering the glass refraction.... nothing. any ideas? it isn't that important to the scene, overall, but it was driving me nuts.
