I sorta just threw this together, and to me it just doesn't 'click'. And I'm at a loss for how to fix it. Suggestions would be helpful!! Gecko

I like it generally. I am wondering where the light is coming from though on it ... Lit from below with no light source is rather odd. You might also change the camera angle a little. Possibly looking a little down to emphasize the lonliness of it or up to emphasize the remarkableness of it ... Just a cople of ideas ...Like the concept though a lot

I know- the lighting from below looks a little odd. Maybe a couple radials instead of spotlights would do it. In any case I should probably move them farther away so as not to get those white patches... I was playing with this for a while before I posted it, and when I darkened the sky up it made it look better. I think I'll work on the 'lonliness' idea- with the sky dark and all I think that seems to be more of the emphasis... Thanks for the comments! Gecko

Personally, I'd put a ray of light in it, aimed at the rock, but would put a rose bush instead of a single rose.

The rose is the output of PlantStudio, a very nice shareware program for the pc. And even though it says it's shareware, the demo has all the components of the full version, with no expiration. go figure. you can DL it at http://www.mediabuilder.com/5587.html if you have a pc. I'll email you the DXF anyway- it's really not that good when it's up close ;). and DVMOO: diaper? pretzels? hmm... Gecko
