Ok so I have had Bryce for a while now, I use to be on it all the time making new worlds that I could just escape into. But then I had to get rid of everything on my computer =( and start all over. I really miss working with bryce. I tried to install it the other day and it said the serial number was incorrect. So I have been looking online for serial numbers and all I can find is the numbers for bryce 3.0 and 3.1 when I have 5.0. I even called there main office and all they could tell me was Oh-well deal with it. So now I have this program that I love using, and I cant use it. So i was wondering if any one had any ideas on what I should do. Other then buying the program again, because im not really made out of money =(.

So if you can please help me out.

Well, if you bought Bryce5 as an upgrade to Bryce4 then you use the Bryce4 serial number you got with it. If you got Bryce5 as a full package then the serial number will be on the registration card. What, you didn't keep the registration card? If you got Bryce5 any other way, well sorry, time to shell out some bucks!

I got Bryce5 as a full package. I tried the serial number that it came with but it wont work.

Try putting the password in as it appears on the registration card, upper and lower case if it has it. Be sure you have the correct password and not a serial number of another kind. There's no reason that the number that came with it wouldn't work a second time. I've reinstalled both Bryce4 and Bryce5 several times on my PC without any problems.

I know there's no reason for the number not to work. I've tried the number and the password many times though, and it tells me that the serial number is invalid. I have no idea why it wont work, it worked fine the first time I had it on my PC.

Is this an upgrade for B5 from B4, If it is, B4 may need to be installed for the B5 upgrade to work. But even so, Coral should be able to give you a number that will by-pass the B4 upgrade, and directly install B5. Did you register the software with Coral. If so they should have you in their computer.

Adorian, some of the early releases of B5 had serial numbers that didn't work. There were some threads on this from the first shipment buyers of the product. There was a process by which people got the right number from Corel. Call them again, give them the number you have that doesn't work, and I'm sure they will help.
