Am I the only one having trouble with this program. I mailed the author and he acted like I was the one with a problem, but the program seems so simple that there isn't a lot to get wrong. I create a MAT file for a multi-element figure, but the program only creates a texture file that applies it to one part, even when I click the "Apply to all materials in this figure" button. Furthermore, the program constantly omits a vital instruction from its scripts (namely, the two 0s after the texture path). Is anyone else having problems, or does the program work fine for you?

If I'm not mistaken, this is the same program that crashed the hell out of my puter. Be careful.

Get MAT Pose Edit. It's in Free Stuff.

Yep. I second that. I bought the program, had problems, and have used the MAT Pose Edit from free stuff ever since. I'll be happy to know if the merchant item ever gets fixed, but until then...

He E-mailed me and said the problem was fixed. ...but I'm not going to be the one to find out!

Most of the issues that you are talking about have been resolved in the latest version, and, in fact, I have made a few adjustments to the program. This new version, 2.6, is available as a free upgrade for anyone who has purchased the previous versions. If people need it, I can make it available as an "exe"-updater only, so that there is nothing to install. Matb- I knew you were having issues with the program back in January, but I believed that everything had been resolved. If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me, but I hadn't heard back from you since then. As for the "0 0" not appearing after the "TextureMap" line, I have double-checked the program, and the latest version for sale, 2.5, creates the MAT Pose correctly. The program will only apply textures to "checked" materials. There is a "Check All" and "Uncheck All" to tell the program to include (or not) the materials in the final MAT pose. However, the "Apply changes to entire figure" is a "shortcut" that only applies the texture within the MAT Pose Applier program. This check box has no effect on whether a material in included in the final MAT Pose. --John

Thanks all, seems I'm not the only to suffer, nor am I the only one who found John's technical support somewhat lacking. John, the reason I stopped mailing you for support was that you were so rude on one occasion, that I lost heart in the continuing struggle. It amazes me that the program can have undergone so many revisions and still have such basic errors. And for the record, I'm using v2.5.0 However, I will now consider the advice I've been sent about requesting a refund...
