I have just posted new ZIPs of the PoserExtractor and PoserLoader to my site and edited the Renderosity entries to correspond with the new files. Thank you all for your feedback on these applications and requests for options. These are all welcome! PoserLoader: It now supports seamless PCF file decoding (thanks Maz), hair, props, poses, characters, and scene files. Additions include a checklist at the end of what files to copy (check/uncheck individual files) and more. PoserExtractor: New name. Old one seemed to confuse some people as to its function. It now supports characters, poses, hair and props for extraction. It also has built in detection of Poser3/4 default OBJs and won't copy them by default now. Also new is the same checklist at the end to manually fine tune which files are copied. Lots more. Read the readme.txt file inside each zip for more details. As time goes on, these two apps will be combined into one zip and an installer will be provided before too much longer and at that time, they will be added to my "Live Update" program's task list so you will be kept up to date automatically. More details in the poser download section at my main site, url attached.

It's about time someone made a program like these. I always hated having to make sure I included the objs for somethings, or doing the directory tree by hand. Thanks! Keep up the good work. And an installer isn't really needed. I like the fact it doesn't install extra stuff on my computer. Thanks man!

Problem is, an installer IS needed. Lots of people still distribute zips that don't have any trees (old and yes some new). But PoserLoader will get the case correct when making directories for these! It also handles the PCF files transparently too, another bonus. But its use is your choice. Varieity is a good thing (most of the time). Eventually PoserExtractor will have integrated PCF creation, but thats down the road a bit.

I prefer it when the files have directions instead of autoloading into specific directories. Some of us don't have our Poser files in expected places. PhilC, for example, is really nice and has his .zip files automatically extract to program filesposer ... The problem is, my Poser files are not in the program files directory so I have to move all the folders and files. Now that I know what these programs do, I'll be sure to give them a try. Thanks!
