Sure some of you have seen me posting about the things I'm making and so far I've been unable to make things work. But not to worry because I'll figure it out some way or another. What I'm hoping is someone that can tell me how to make a group of figures one figure. Why you ask? Well I am trying to make a poseable version my dreadlocks to match the morphing ones I'm working on too. These are a different model all together then the morphing ones. Anyways I've made one lock and set up the joint paremters and believe it or not it works perfectly:) Now I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I can combine a couple dozen of those locks with the cap and make it one figure with out having to go through the process of cutting every single lock and having to bone each one. Knowing my luck there isn't a way to do this but I'm hoping.

heyas; if you have one base figure, and you want to make variants with... well, variable parts added in... you can try my 'grafting on body parts' tutorial, which shows you how to insert new bits into your old cr2, so you don't have to start totally from scratch. you could probably create the base dreds, and joint those up.... then create the first variant and do the joints only for the added-in bits. then just copy the joints and such from the base to the new one, and/or vice versa. of course, depending on how complex your joints are, it might be faster to just set them all up in poser ;)
