Are there any other manuals you can get for the program besides the one it came with?

Well, the problem I am having is I am coming up with a really lousy render. It is set for Ulta rendering. I get these awful pock marks on the figure I imported and the terrain. I know it probably has something to do with lighting. The bad part about it is it is my challenge graphic so posting what it looks like is out of the question. LOL. So I am I guess what you call up the creek without the paddles and floundering

Linda, you should not hesitate to upload here your problem image. This could be the best way for us to help you. One thing I can tell you is, if you render a terrain as it comes out from Vue, you only have a low resolution on it. Also do the following for all terrains you create (except the ones seen from very very far away: Double-click on the terrain or it's name in the world browser. This will open the terrain editor. Bring up the resolution (x2), this avoids black spots on your terrain. Play around with the other features you see there too. Concerning the figure, I have to see the image to see what's wrong. :-) Guitta

Thanks Gebe, You are right. I will render the pic and then post it. I can always come up with another idea but I need to figy=ure out what I am doing wrong.
