So many people asked us for this, we had to do it. Now they're done. Here is a sneak preview of Electra's arms. They should be in the store in a day or two.

The arms are separate so you can use either right, left, or both. Textures match the ones for Electra's legs in the original Electra package.

Of course you can also use the arms without Electra on any Vicki character.

People have been doing some very cool images with Electra. I would love to have any and all for my guest gallery, so let me know if you'd like me to add them.

This is way cool.... Is this gonna be on sale? or is there any special offers for customers who bought Electra?

cwshorty posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 3:44 AM

I'm with Dave on this one, they are really cool and I was hoping to see these. I was also wondering about previous buyers as well, especially those that bought her within the first few days that she was released and before sale.

WOW! Looks fabulous! Amazing work! :-) Dave :-)

Those are really nice

HandspanStudios posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 6:56 AM

The sale is a general sale in the HandspanStudios store for the month of July, so the arms will be included in the sale. I aplogize for not giving out more advance notice so that you could plan your purchases but I had decided to do it kind of 'spur of the moment'. Dan was very kind to let me include Electra in my storwide sale so please send any hate mail regarding the bad timing to me ;-).

rasputina posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 9:12 AM

how very cool. Any chance we could get a peek at Electra full on wearing the arms as well? :)

cwshorty posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 9:24 AM

Oh yea, I'd love to see that myself!!!

dcort posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 11:31 AM

Okay, here you go. This is a quickie render with no touch-up except for the hair. The arms are in the store's pending area right now, so they should be available any time.

Dcort I love the product and have messed with the legs trying to make a morph for the feet a flat heeled morph. to no avail. anyone here want to give it a try?

rasputina posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 2:24 PM

wow-wow-wow. Thanks so much, very exciting looking all the bits together as well.

lalverson posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 4:51 PM

Very very impressive! This would be a very cool addition to this lady and still along the same clean style!

ElorOnceDark posted Fri, 05 July 2002 at 7:07 PM

Very, very nice! I can't wait for the arms!

dcort posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 12:50 AM

Raistlin... Will these do? I did the flat one and then got a little carried away. I will be posting an updated .cr2 very soon with the new morphs in it.

Dave71 posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 2:39 AM

Hey I love the hoove Idea....excellent once again Dan :)

raistlin12000 posted Sat, 06 July 2002 at 6:17 AM

Thanks Dcort, Thats exactly what I was looking for. I just thought it odd with the high heels. I'll be looking forward for the update. excellent work. (Also can't wait for the arms to hit the MP)

Here's a link to the foot morphs. I also included new thigh morphs for Vicki that don't have such a problem with poke-through. They are stripped .obj files ("v" lines only). Now that you have a hoof morphs, I'm waiting for someone to come up with an electric pony girl.

leather-guy posted Sat, 03 August 2002 at 7:53 PM

dcort I bought Electra & the arms a couple of weeks ago. This is the first chance I've had to "Play" with her. I had an image of a Digigrade (faunlike) Cyborg since I first saw her in the MP, and I've just been trying to make one. If I scale the cyborg legs to where I want, the pieces go flying off, since they're conforming to normal legs (Fig on Left). If I try Scaling the invisible legs also, it's nearly as bad. If I conform them to "none" and just parent them, to a thigh, the cyborg thighs are slaved to each other, and can't be parented separately (Fig on Right). Any possibility of getting separate CR2's for the legs so I can just parent them separately? Thanks!

HandspanStudios posted Sat, 03 August 2002 at 8:52 PM

Interesting idea. Scaling never works on conforming figures the results vary some but they're never what you were hoping for. Maybe try Creating your morph with the magnets instead of using scaling?

I've had no real success with Magnets in the past - gave up on them for things I want to do. I suppose I could just make all the parts of each leg invisible in turn, and just save it twice, once with the left, once with the right, and just load and parent them from those, but seems kind of wasteful of resources to load that way. No chance for separate CR2's?

Leather-guy, Check my downloads page. :) Of course I'm not sure if this is going to solve your problem, but if you want separate legs now you've got 'em. - Dan

Really cool - This is such a BIG help! Doesn't pose as easy as conforming, but at least now it's do-able! Many, many thanks!
