I really love it how threads about poser 5 grow longer, and branch into other threads, the whole community in a state of near-panic - so I thought, well, lets add some oil into the fire (thats the translation from a german saying, but I think it translates into english, too)... I copied this quote from the curious lab website: "egi.sys AG is the parent company of Curious Labs, Inc. Movement in three dimensional (3D) virtual reality is the central issue at egi.sys AG located in the southern German University City Tingen" (end of quote) Just imagine, the german version of Poser 5 MIGHT be out for sale before the english one... ;-) Ok... I shut down my computer and go into hiding... Have fun, Hendrik

We throw oil on water to settle it, gas on a fire to excite.

if I could read German and that was first out I'd buy it. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed they release english first. I saw someones kitchen disappear once when they put water on an oilpan fire, luckily all they lost was their kitchen, hair & eyebrows. Rob

Germany is actually were the computer was invented. Or at least, its not far from Manchester where they invented computer memory.

Sorry, no fire there. egi.sys has been the parent of CL for some time, and to my knowledge, the US versions of Avatar Lab and Pro Pack both came out first...which should surprise no one, because (1) the people actually developing it are in the U.S.; and (2) the U.S. is the world's largest market.

Egisys is STILL the parent company of CL. I'm pretty sure as soon P5 is available it will be available in germany at the same time.

LOL. It's funny to see how a small stone thrown into the big "'Rosity" pond causes waves as huge as a tsunami....still laughing Hey guys, calm down! Although I'm German as well I'm more than shure that the first release of P5 will be the English. Just my two cents... And I'll buy the English version for shure. :)))
