Here's some more from the closet. I think this first one was used by my grandmother, but may be earlier. There are no dates or markings. It appears to use sheet film, one sheet at a time, loaded in the dark. Shutter, lens (behind shutter, front is just a hole), and right angle viewfinder still seems to work.

This second one I'm pretty sure was used by Grandma. No date, but still has the original box. "Rainbow Hawk-eye" No.2 Model C, Eastmond Kodak Company. This appears to use roll film (No.120). The latches seem to take the whole FRONT of the camera off, though something seems stuck and I'm afraid to pull too hard without knowing what I'm doing. The shutter and right angle vierfinder still works. Like the previous one, the lens appears to be behind the shutter, so cannot tell if it is still good or not. Overall it seems in quite good shape, with all the leather intact and black and shiny.

I've no idea who used this Brownie Special. It was manufactured by Eastmon Kodak company, and uses 616 roll film. This has a "T" and "I" shutter setting, (though the shutter does not seem to work). And there is a lever for sliding a lens element into place for focusing between 6 to 15 feet.

those are wonderful antiques... sure makes one glad that we have the technology to advance with.... i loved the shot of the brownie, i had heard of those but had never seen one. thanks for sharing! :)
