It's time to start using Musclebound Mike (MBM) for something besides his "default character." I've created a pretty convincing Barbarian, complete with "heroic genitals," (just think of what a "real barbarian" might look like, grin) and a good rugged face. I've even "Tailored" the RDNA Truss so the Barbarian doesn't need to go naked. You need to have either Mike 1 or Mike 2, and Musclebound Mike to use this character. I've used DraX's Delta Injection Technology to ensure copyright protection. I can't provide the skin texture or hair (but you can use the Morph Hair from Digital Babes, with some minor tweaking). I'm also working on a project to Tailor some of Mike's clothes to fit MBM. Would you be interested in those outfits? I probably won't be able to post the Barbarian until tonight at least. I need to make sure things are put together properly. Ron

thanks Ron, this might sound silly but what is DraX's delta injection technology? Rob

DraX used a system he calls Delta Injection to allow distribution of Musclebound Mike (MBM) characters. Essentially it means that you create the character using MBM, then use a special .pz2 that strips out the MBM morphs. You're left with a Michael 1 character, which you can freely distribute. The end user has to own MBM to get the muscles back: s/he uses a second special .pz2 file on the distributed character that puts them back. Anyone who owns Michael 1 or 2, but not MBM can still use the character, they just won't get the muscle morphs. It's a cool system, one I wish DAZ would implement. So much easier for character creation than makine MORs. BTW, Ron - your barbarian looks great. I'm off to download now!

Eirian, you were nice enough to let me beta test Duncan for MBM. I still remember that. Thank you for the compliment. That's indeed an honor coming from such a fine artist as yourself! By the way, I thought DraX had said months ago that he was working with DAZ closely on the issue of Delta Injection technology. I had the impression it would be widely used.. However we haven't heard much from DraX all year...

Hey Ron, it looks great. As per the Delta Injection stuff... you may have noticed that DAZ has already started using it with the Aiko character for Stephanie :)

BTW, Ron, here's a sneak peek at something up and coming for Michael 2.0 and Musclebound Michael 2.0 (yes, there's a new one in the works)

This is early progress and missing most of the props, clothing items, but it gives you an idea of where I'm going with this.
