A good start. It looks a little soft right now. I'm not sure how to say it other that...but then, I'm not an expert at this sort of thing and am still working on it. I think the best thing I could do is tell ya to visit the link in this post. Lots of tutorials, lots of different ways of painting hair. Needs highlights and shadow to define it-- if you are going naturalistic or. . . if you are not, needs to be even more soft and mist like. For me either works. Sometimes hair that looks too real, makes the Vickis, etc, look phoney. Emily

Hey I think the hair looks good the way it is, but the face is in sharp focus and so you should find a way to blur the face somewhat to use this hair with it. just looking at it from another perspective.

There are some great tutorials on 3D Commune for hair painting specifically helpful for me were the ones by Sinsister and one by Skooldaze.
