Well I am back with yet another version of this wonderfull project. I am finally done with the castle (unless someone see's something I missed). I added a bit of character among other things. ALl I need now are some ideas for what to do about the surrounding terrain because it still seems kind of bland. Please let me know what you thinkbecause I still need input. Thanks for the help and whatnot Tempest

All in all not bad at all. I would have used less light and make it more ambient. Not like it lookes under a spotlight but more subdude. Still the level of detail is quite good and the materials you used are all good chioces.

Uhm .. typically there wouldn't be that many exterior doors (as in the towers). I still might lower the lighting. Castles typically were dark places and especially at night ... Good work in sticking to the project though ... S And nice job ...

This is one of the things that I was talking about, the towers among other things have this terrible tendency to relocate themselves. And don't mind that strange little dar k area in the moon, it was a photshop accident

actually, it looks pretty good to me. About all I'd do is raise the water a bit, throw a few plants in and go back into photoshop and do the fire thing you did before

Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.

Looks good. Might want to resize the texture on the walls.. and I agree about the doors. If you're worried about the terrain, you might try some small plants, rocks, etc. Since it's nighttime, you probably don't need to worry too much about it... just play with the ground texture till it looks right to you. Diane ... I agree but this one is a castle for defense by it's structure and the fact that it is a seige S The towers relocate themselves? Uhm ... maybe you have the motion tracing thing on .. I know odd things also happen with dxf's sometimes .. not sure why else they would move themselves ... Good luck and always remember to have fun S

NICE! I like the lights in the castle. Maybe have some mountains in the background. Not sure how that will look, but just a suggestion. -Adam
