Has anyone gotten VUE3 to work with windows 2000 pro. The user interface loads fine, but then the program crashes whenever I try to load an existing file or start a new landscape. Thanks Mike

You have to wait for he next release upgrade from e-on. Currently it does not work with Win2K. Bill

The latest newsletter from E-on indicated they were definitely working on it...I got the impression it wasn't going to be too long in coming, could be wrong tho. Gail

Thanks for the info. BTW, Poser 4 and Bryce 4 both work fine with Win2K. In fact Poser is producing fewer errors than under Win98SE. Mike

I e-mailed them about this issue in January, and this was the response I got: ---------------------------- From: Steve Bell [mailto:sbell.support@e-onsoftware.com] Sent: Monday, January 10, 2000 5:54 AM To: Brent Moberly Subject: Re: Vue D'Esprit 3.0 and Windows 2000 Vue 3 will not run under Win 2000 until this OS is stabilized. Sorry. When it is, we'll release an update (if necessary) to make sure it performs OK. Regards. ------------------------ I wonder when they will consider Windows 2000 "stabilized." Sorry to gripe, but it's really frustrating to have to boot back to NT 4.0 whenever I want to use Vue, especially when all of my other applications function fine, if not better, under 2000. oh well...
