I've been reading this forum at least 2 times a week for one purpose only: to make a character I made in 3D Studio Max 3 into a Poser character/figure. I've read the tutorial in the Poser 4 manual about how to create an RDS figure into a Poser figure but it just isn't good enough to do with Max. I think the ultimate tutorial would be a multi-part tutorial on how to convert a Max mesh into a Poser character using a few programs like: 3d Studio Max 2.5(since that's what seems to be the most popular version for Max owners), Habware OBJ exporter plug-in, Poser 4, PHI Builder, etc. I don't know enough about Max/Poser to create a good step-by step tutorial on Poser 4 figure creation (similar to the one in the Poser manual) but I would love to see one. Especially important would be exactly what settings to use when exporting using the Habware plugin to get a figure that's approximately the size of a standard Poser 4 man/woman. I would like to hear what you all think about this. -Sanv P.S.sorry about the long letter the cross-posting into the Max forum

Try posting this to the MAX forum section. Virus has taken many characters from MAX to Poser. -JH.

Have been back and forth from Max to Poser so many times myself. Never done a full figure though, but I believe the process would be the same. If your interested in an assist, email me: shdwcstr@hotmail.com Put Poser in the subject so I know what it's about.
