Hey there, I typed a msg after yours but I was not sure if you would go back and check the msg since its on the next page of this msg board. Anyways, I looked at your image and its an excellent example of what I am looking for as of the ceiling light fixture, I would love to know how u did that in detail or can you make one for me and then make it into .obj file? I like your image, and you might want to make the floor in lighter color, and the lamp alittle more slimmer make it look like ummm halogen lamp type of thing, can we import poser person into bryce program?? I was thinking about adding some people in the bryce as "secartary" Office people in my image. Great work on your art gallery, maybe you would like to add posters or paintings on the wall make it look like a art gallery.

You can import any poser models to Bryce, even transmap models. Hang out on the poser gallery too and scan the online tuts. Yeah, the art gallery is a long term project and I'll have the family work on the walls. I intend for it to look like a high end caustic app, as photo realistic as possible. Having a tough time with the ceiling right now. Ok, to make the florescent lights, I used a sphere object and stretched it, but don't like that and I'll replace the florescent bulbs with a cone light object. The glass cover for the lights was done by making a box primitive in Metasequoia and extruding it, then deleting unwanted faces. Lights were set to the lowest setting. email me if you like. eric@annsartgallery.com

Oh, the picture on the wall above the fireplace in this one is an old oil of mine.

Did I say cone light above? I meant cylinder light object.

I love the painting above the fireplace, how did you do that? I plan on doing the same for the office walls but couldnt figure out how to import image onto the 2d for it to become a painting or poster.

Scan the oil, you'll need a flatbed. In this case, I had to make 4 scans and alter the contrast/brightness/hue/saturation to splice it. Once the image is finished. save as jpg or bmp then make a 2d face object and go to the mat lab and apply the image. There are some settings you want to get the vibrance. Give it a shot and if you don't like what you get, let me know and I'll explain the settings more.

Can you explain the procedure of how to do that? I am still learning though, heh so bear with me. I appreciate it that you are helping me. I am going to give it a shot and if I run into any problems I will come back and post message or email to you either way.
