For my website I am trying to create some fake magazine covers sort of like the ones you see at the amusement parks where they add your picture to the cover but I am trying to get them right for a story line on my website. Here are the first attempts I don't know if I got the layout and fonts right. Suggestions are very welcome. Thanks.

The third and last. I think this is the worste one but I know I have to change the format with each cover.

Arch, you might want to "distress" the covers a little to make them look a little worn/handled. Also try and add a little gradent to the red border to give it depth. Just depends on what effect you are looking for... :) retrocity

I tried a similar thing some time ago. Cheers Jack Casement

The cover is obviously one of the most important parts of a magazine (except for the content, of course!) so you need a really striking image. #3 is good but the first two lack impact - close-ups of the machines would be better I think.
