This one picture took about 6 hours to complete, and I'm thrilled with the journey I took to achieve the final version. I've been wanting to do this since I first started learning Poser. But this was the first time that I've tried. I've seen a lot of depictions of Jesus in which he's portrayed as the 'Shampoo Model'. I wanted to show the pain he went through for us. I hope that I acheived what I aimed for.

I would call that a successful image. I think I might have made him much more pale, he is dead after all, at that point. Good effects with the shadows too. Very painterly. You might be interested in an image I did a couple of weeks ago. It's in my gallery at the link above; Mary Magdalene. Keep up the good work.Gorodin posted Wed, 17 July 2002 at 3:46 AM

Hey friend, never can see too many spiritual pieces here at Rosity, I'm working on one called "Stripes" right now, as in "by his stripes we are healed" - and will show the wounded back of Messiah. I know how it feels to finish a work you've been working on for a while, this one was like that: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=171756&Start=1&Artist=TalmidBen&ByArtist=Yeswaffen posted Wed, 17 July 2002 at 7:22 PM
