On 6-25 2002 I posted a question about the patch for
Dance studio and got a quick responce from Norbert, thanks.
On july the 8th I got an e-mail from a person going by the
name MMMAAA wanting to give me Daz models in exchange for
a copy of Dance studio. I sent a message back saying that I don't copy programs or do I deal with illegal figures or
programs. I recieved an e-mail back that I did not open and
I now have a worm Virus on my computer, strange huh?
I have reported this to Daz and they say that they will look
into the giving away of their models.
This is just to let you all know to BEWARE !!
His e-mail is MMMAAAYYY16@hotmail.com BEWARE !!!!

I thought it was established that dance studio was "adandonedware" and could be given away free of charge by anyone.

wolf359 , you may be right about it being "abandonedware" I don't really know, but I was more upset about the person wanting to trade Daz figures for the Dance studio. He or she also wanted to give me Mimic in exchange, which is not abandonedware. Sorry for the long delay in responding , I'm still trying to get this computer back from the attack. Right now it is just moving files around and screwing with the desktop icons. It started with the icons moving when you tried to click on them, you know like the computer gag thing, and then it started moving files. So far now real damage. skee

What was Dance Studio? And, if it's abandonedware and it's worth having, anyone got one abandoned anywhere?!...

If it's abandonware, does anyone know where to find it? I've been trying to track that puppy down since I heard about it. It was after it was abandoned, so finding it was virtually impossible. Thanks.

I have seen it on ebay for sale, but you don't know what you will get. I have the first that came out. If you find it make sure you get the patch so you can export the motion files . good luck skee

I picked up Dance Studio at a clearance warehouse. It's CRAP, hardly worth wasting your time looking for.

I've been looking at the BVH fiules again on the Poser content CD, it looks like there are several short loops all put together, they need a bit of work to get them out again and suitable for Poser. I was wondering if the program used the short loops to create a larger piece, if so, then that would be useful...
