I'm pretty new at all this so bear with me if I ask any stupid questions. I have made some pretty cool weapons in bryce 4 but I dont know how to get them into poser 4 is it possible?

The only items you can export from Bryce are terrains. One of the worst things about Bryce imho. Its a no go on that one Deal Tartan

It will be possible when someone cracks the code on Bryce's .BR3 / .BR4 / .OBP file format. Or when Metacreations releases its specifications, which will likely be about the same time as there are public guided tours of Area 51.

Have you built these out of the Bryce primatives, Bryce Terrains, or are they built from imported objects? If they are from Bryce primatives, you cannot export these. You can get around this by building "replacement" primatives in 3DS or Raydream and using those - which will allow you to export them. If they are built from terrains, then there should be no problem exporting them. If they are built from imported objects you've built in 3DS or Raydream, you'll need to group them together to form one object. Then click on the letter "E" that shows on the little tabs that appear when you select the object. This will open the smoothing window. Then you use the easter egg to export the object. 'Cause I'm not at my machine I can't tell you exactly, but it's either Control+E or Control+D that opens an export dialogue box. Basically, if you can get the letter "E" to appear when you select an object, you can use the easter egg to export a 3D mesh from Bryce. What really ticks me off about Bryce is the lack of proper names for the little doodads and doohickies that you have to click. It makes explaining a procedure decidedly sub-optimal :) Paul

Yeah, Lobo... Ya see, ya press that little "M" thingie, then you see this screen come up with these little dents. Some of the dents have little pink or green things in them. Click the 3rd pink dent from the right and... oh, fergetit. The lack of a true export facility in Bryce is the one thing that really holds this software back. It's good software, but it could be great. Given how easy it would be to add that functionality, it's truly a shame. I've got several things I've made from Bryce Booleans. Unfortunately, I can't use them where I'd like: Poser, Cinema 4d, etc... -sk
