Or is it becoming awfully quite around here lately? Everyone go on vacation, or what. Just curious;-}

I've been in sort of a Summer slump. Hot. Sometimes even miss checking in for a couple days. At my day-job I've fallen into a mode of, "Don't say anything unless it's absolutely necessary, and then keep it uncontroversial." This has maybe spilled over into my real life here. Please don't take that as a reflection on the Forum. There has been some exciting stuff posted here lately (some bugs and forest paths in particular). Just my situation. I'm sure others have similar stories. There is quite a lot of nice new work over in the Gallery. How to we get some of those folks over here to spice things up?

Yup, it's been quiet....that's why I posted something yesterday before I forgot how. I'm also in sort of a slump and not feeling too creative. The summer is just flying away from me. I had all these big plans and I haven't been able to accomplish any of it. :~(
I am, therefore I create.......

Ditto that Michelle!! It's not just here, R'osity is generally quieter than usual.

Misha, Im with you on the summer heat. Lets see should I go out and take images, or stay in and not move. The few times Ive posted lately, the weather had cooperated. I took a bunch of G2 digi picts at a concert last weekend. Maybe Ill post some tonight, when I get home. Im hoping that most folks are away doing interesting, fun vacation stuff, and will show back up with some good stuff to share. Anyone been up to the chat room lately?

I check R'osity everyday, or whenever I can, but I've been trying to catch up on work lately (online too much of the time hehehe). Summer is over in my part of the world; currently, we are being bombarded by the weather's tantrums. The camera is currently in air-tight storage. The moisture might be too much for the poor old thing. I still have pics for scanning, but I just finished my nth back-up to free up some hard disk space. Hopefully within the week I will have time to do this. I'm trying to catch up on some culture too... hehehe... movies, books, and theater... am gonna watch the local production of Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick, Boom next week... Haven't been chatting lately (and I do miss it...), but I regularly check the chatroom in the off-chance that somebody might be lurking there. (No luck yet heheh) Better shut up now... need some sleep... yawn (*

I just got back from spending a week at a bagpiping school. It is really awesome as we get instructed by players who rank among the top ten in the world. I am all excited about my competition tomorrow and hope that some of what I worked on during the week comes through. Unfortunately, when I'm competing (solo and with my band) I don't have time or presence of mind for photography. Which is a shame as Highland Games are a perfect place to catch a variety of good shots. Oh well, I'll let you know how I do.

I've been accused lately at home of being on the computer too much, so in order to preserve peace (not really sure if that's necessary anymore) I have backed off, and at work it's too damn busy. Like J.L. said, "I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round". Also, my mom gave me a bunch of her really old photographs to preserve, so thats been kind of fun, but its not my photography so I havent posted any of it. However, I must say its kind of interesting, all those long gone dead people looking at me!
