What would be the best way to make webbing between the fingers and toes of a figure in poser and make them possable? The set up in poser is the crucal part of the puzzle. Modeling could be done in any program, for any kind of character like maybe the creature from the black lagoon. Any suggestions???

Well, you really can't do it effectively for anything beyond the first joint of the knuckle. I managed to do it to that joint for my Sea Beast (MP), but it involved an almost entirely "virtual" first finger joint... it would be exceptionally difficult to modify say, Mike or Vicky for this.

heyas; yeah, it would be a real pain. if the webbing that is between the first finger joints is part of the hand, then the fingers can affect it (my guess is, that's what valandar did in the sea beast). after that, you get into the problem where you can't weld the seams between siblings. you COULD try. there's a tutorial on my site about welding things that shouldn't be welded. it's called 'having illegitimate children in poser.' the only problem with this method is a potentially disasterous bug. but you can read up on it. :) look in the goodie section for tutorials.

Hey I bought your Seabeast, Awsome figure by the way. I want to create a series of reptilian/humanoid figures from a comic called "The Kindred II". They will be for Poser. I will look through the cr2 of your Seacreature, Valandar. The claws on him are very similar to what I'm wanting to do. The images should give you all an idea of what's to come. You might try using the same technique used in the "underarm webbing" conforming figure for Keoto's Spider-Man file, available at animotions.com....

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Lyrra, I'm not reproducing the characters, just making a group of reptilian/humanoids similary to the ones pictured. The characters pictured above are from a comic by Wildstorm comics and DC who hold copyrights. Thank you, for the caution though we do need to keep that in mind. Same thing holds true for artistic copyright. :)

heyas; well, cage, the problem with the conforming webbing would be the same: the siblings have to be welded together. in the underarm webbing, it isn't so bad, it's a parent-child-grandchild deal.
