I hit BAT a little bit ago, to see their weekly free data, and to my surprise, the weekly free data area is gone :( (Imagine the horror LOL) Does anyone know if they'll be doing more freebies or if this is it for them? (Hate to see such a quality artist stop making GREAT objects!)

I tried it a few minutes ago too...nothing. HOPEFULLY, just a temporary site problem. It was working this AM.

Have you looked at the Links section on the new site? They're all rated, and Renderosity gets a near-perfect score.

When I went to Bat Labs site, the weekly download section was removed. And the http://bat.server.ne.jp/ site gives me a forbidden.

Do anyone have a clear answer of what happen to BAT's sites? Sometimes ago the freestuff section changed to 'weeky data' because of bandwidth. And now, there is a new site, but forbidden here and there. And because of the language, can't get the information of what happen there. Is he want to only share his works only with his friends? I like his work very much!

It seems to change quite a bit; about a year ago the site was forbidden to all but Japanese servers.

:( Yeah I love his work. It's amazing really. It's a shame that we can't access it. I tried again and got a few of the things. But if he is having bandwidth problems, I'm sure people around here that have extra to spare would be more than willing to help him out :) (I hope that's the case and he just don't want to share anymore, that would suck)

Problem is that BAT doesn't speak a single word of English - if anyone knows him, can translate and send on the message, I would be MORE than happy to host for him. I'd put up with a lot to help a guy like that! So - if you know someone who knows him and can send on the message (in Japanese) - I'll help him as much as I can! :] FishNose
