How nice the jem looks like and it's pure Rhino I can't reach this effect with bryce, and I've tried hard.

Hi Duga. Your jewels very nice. Here is fast rendering in Bryce without any lights. Just 3 objects: 1 simple gem (Amapi) and 1 floor and 1 sky fm standard Bryce. But if you have time enough, you can play quite a long with your gem in Bryce and get much more. Cya.

Hi again, The better the proportions are, the better the diamond handles light to create more sparkle. You can find a lot on web. Look at "diamond" and "cut". Cya.

Something to add: Under Bryce's "render options" - play around with the "maximum internal reflection" setting. Lower numbers will give you a more realistic internal sparkle.

Thanks a lot your tip Cobalt. Here a pict with value ajusted on 4. Quite nice render without any light except the ordinary Bryce sky. @+
