Clint, that is cool! Where are the rocks from? Export from Bryce? Aeryk71

Rocks like this are easy to create in Carrara! Just go into the vertex modeller, insert the default sphere, only with more polygons. Then pick the magnet tool and deform the sphere. Really easy, really fast. To get the variation form rock to rock (the three are identical duplicates) I applied Noise Deform (a plug-in included in the Carrara Power Pack). Of course this step is optional, but I find Noise Deform to be very useful for creating quick, random variations. Brian Retford Carrara Extensions www.losthorizonsoftware.com

Aerky, Just like Brian said. I did try to Export from Bryce 4 (grin) but it wont let ya. I then went to the vertex modeler created a sphere and used the Sphere of attraction tool to deform it. I then did a few subdivides and smooths to finish them off. Thanks for the comments... BTW - No post work. All done in Carrara. Clint

Try this out: Insert vertex object>Insert oval>Construct organic Mark

Mark - Ya know. Last night I saw that "Organic" option in the pulldown. I was a little to tired to look into it at that time. I think I'll have to check that out today.. ;) Maybe I'll post some rocks to the Free Stuff section. Clint
